With these poems by Virgil Diaconu published as Parallel Texts, in both English and Romanian, Translation Café begins the publication of books translated by students who have graduated from the MA Programme for the Translation of the Contemporary Literary Text in 2016.
            The poems we are now publishing have been chosen and translated from Romanian into English by Eduard Simion, as part of his Dissertation, defended in June 2016. This issue also contains an interview with Virgil Diaconu, taken by the translator himself.

             Cu aceste poeme de Virgil Diaconu publicate sub formă de texte paralele, atât în limba engleză, cât și în limba română, Translation Café începe publicarea unor texte traduse de absolvenți ai Masteratului pentru Traducerea Textului Literar Contemporan, promoția 2016.
              Poeziile din acest număr au fost alese și traduse din limba română în limba engleză de Eduard Simion, ca parte din disertația susținută în iunie 2016. În acest număr este inclus și un interviu luat chiar de traducător poetului Virgil Diaconu.
